RemovalForge is the first background tool built for how marketplaces actually rank you. Every platform, Allegro, Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Instagram, scores your listing photos by their pixels: the exact shade of white, the exact frame size, the clean edges. Get them wrong and the algorithm quietly punishes your reach without ever telling you. RemovalForge does not just delete a background and hand you a transparent hole like other tools. It rebuilds your photo the way the platforms want it: your real product, cut by a professional-grade engine, centred on laboratory white at the exact pixel size each marketplace demands, up to a hundred photos in one drop, packed into one ZIP. And under the EU AI Act arriving in August 2026, that difference becomes a weapon: tools that paint AI-generated backgrounds now carry a labeling question on every image, while your RemovalForge photo stays what it always was, your real product on plain white, real pixels, nothing invented, nothing to declare. Free forever in the browser; only the heavy-duty API costs money, because servers are the only thing that cost us money. And it has grown past background removal: you can now measure your product directly on the photo, every image is auto-enhanced for the thumbnail, and the API can even read the writing on a supplier photo and clean it, so the tool now prepares a listing photo from start to finish.
Why white is not a matter of taste
Allegro's first photo, the thumbnail, must sit on white with the exact value 255,255,255. Not cream, not "almost white", not the wall of your office. A robot checks it, and failing quietly costs you reach or blocks you from editing the offer. Amazon adds a second number: your product has to fill at least 85 percent of the frame, or the listing gets suppressed and stops ranking entirely. One drop, every shop
Tick as many formats as you like and a single batch produces a separate correctly sized file for each, sorted into folders inside the ZIP. Allegro at 2560, Amazon at 2000, eBay at 1600, Etsy, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, plus a transparent PNG for designers. Photograph a product once, list it everywhere.
Measure your product right on the photo
Buyers ask "how big is it?" more than anything else, and now the answer lives inside the image. Open any finished photo, click the two ends of your product, and type the real size in centimeters once. A clean measurement bar appears, and every measurement after that labels itself: click the blade of a knife and type 5, then click the handle and it reads its own length. Download the photo with the sizes drawn in, at full resolution. A photo with a size on it reads as more trustworthy and gives the marketplace real detail to rank on, and it is free and unlimited in the browser.
Every photo comes out sharper, on its own
RemovalForge now finishes each image with a gentle marketplace-grade enhancement, a touch more contrast and color so your product looks its best in the thumbnail, while pure white stays pure white. There is nothing to switch on and nothing is generated. Real pixels, adjusted the way a good phone camera would, so the result still carries nothing to declare under the EU AI Act.
The tool can now read a photo, not just clean it
Supplier photos often arrive covered in foreign writing, size stamps and watermarks you cannot legally reuse. RemovalForge can now read a photo and tell you whether it carries writing, whether that writing is Chinese, and whether it is only harmless numbers. This runs on our own server and powers automated listing pipelines through the API, so photos with writing get cleaned or dropped before they ever reach a listing. It is the difference between a background remover and a full listing photo studio.
The EU AI Act and your photos: why this tool is the safe lane
From August 2026 the EU AI Act asks sellers to label images that were generated or invented by AI: products created from scratch, AI-generated scene backgrounds, virtual models. Marketplaces are rolling out AI watermark tags for exactly those cases. RemovalForge sits on the other side of that line by design. It never invents a single pixel. Your product stays your real photograph; the tool only decides which of your own pixels to keep and places them on a flat solid color, the same catalog convention print shops have used for a century. No generated scene, no invented product, nothing to disclose. Tools that paint fake AI backgrounds behind your product now carry a watermark question on every listing. What is the catch? There is none. The hard work happens on your device, so serving you costs us almost nothing. That is the whole reason this can be free without limits.
Do you keep my images? We never receive them. Open your browser network tab and watch: nothing leaves.
How good are the edges? Clean on solid products, which is what marketplace listings are made of. Very fine hair or mesh can still need a touch-up.
Does it work on a phone? Yes, up to 30 photos per batch so your phone does not run out of memory.
